FAQ’s

If I am interested in modeling, what do I do?
You have a friend or family member take several snapshots of you and email them to us. The photos we like to see are a smile headshot, no smile headshot, a 3/4(to the top of knees) and a full length shot. For complete details, go to
Be a Model.

Do I need to pay upfront fees to join OPTION Model and Media?
No. We require no upfront fees.

How does the agency make money?
After we have advised the model how to build a book and other marketing materials, we promote them to our clients. Once a booking is secured, the agency receives a commission, often referred to as a service fee, from the model for services rendered on their behalf. The agency also charges the client an agency fee for finding the right model, organizing castings calls, making sure the model has the proper information for the photo shoot or show, etc.

If I do not pay fees to join, who pays for my ''marketing'' materials?
You do. Marketing materials, such as photo shoots to build your book, comp cards, web site postings, etc. are all required to obtain opportunities for you. These are your financial responsibility.

Is it true you only work with local clients?
NO! This is not true. Oregon is unique in the fact that Mt. Hood is the only peak in the continental U.S. that has snow year round. Many national clients book shoot time on the mountain to shot their winter and holiday catalogues. They often book local models and hair/make-up.
